Physical Reference Laboratory Center (PRLC)
Responsibilities:
- To conduct research and develop physical testing methods, as well as to establish relevant standards for analyzing the physical properties and structures of materials.
- Provision of physical testing services for assigning reference values to materials, which supports the development and quality control of products in accordance with established standards.
- The role of the national reference laboratory is fulfilled in conducting physical tests on products to verify their conformity with international standards.
- Knowledge transfer in physics and testing technologies is carried out through academic consultation, expert guidance, and applied research to address technical challenges.
- The establishment and maintenance of laboratory quality systems are ensured in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, including the implementation of safety protocols and other relevant quality standards.
- To foster academic and research collaborations with both domestic and international organizations in relevant areas.
- Cooperation with responsible agencies is undertaken in the formulation of regulations and product standards at the national and international levels.
- To support or coordinate with other relevant organizations as necessary, or as assigned by supervisory authorities.
- วิจัยและพัฒนาวิธีทดสอบทางฟิสิกส์ และการจัดทำมาตรฐานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการวิเคราะห์สมบัติทางกายภาพ และการวิเคราะห์โครงสร้างของวัสดุ
- วิเคราะห์ทดสอบสมบัติทางฟิสิกส์เพื่อให้ค่าแก่วัสดุอ้างอิง ในการนำไปใข้ประโยชน์สำหรับการพัฒนาและควบคุมคุณภาพสินค้าและผลิตภัณฑ์ให้เป็นไปตามมาตรฐาน
- วิเคราะห์ทดสอบสมบัติทางฟิสิกส์ของสินค้าและผลิตภัณฑ์ในฐานะห้องปฏิบัติการอ้างอิงของประเทศ เพื่อยืนยันคุณสมบัติตามมาตรฐานสากล
- ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ฟิสิกส์และเทคโนโลยีการทดสอบ รวมทั้งให้คำปรึกษาและแนะนำทางวิชาการ และการให้บริการทำงานวิจัยเพื่อแก้ปัญหาต่าง ๆ
- จัดทำและรักษาระบบคุณภาพห้องปฏิบัติการ ISO/IEC 17025 และดำเนินกิจกรรมตามมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการ และมาตรฐานด้านคุณภาพอื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง
- สร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ ทั้งมิติด้านวิชาการ งานวิจัยและพัฒนากับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งภายในประเทศและต่างประเทศ
- ปฏิบัติงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในการกำหนดกฎระเบียบและมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์ ทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ
- ปฏิบัติงานร่วมกับหรือสนับสนุนการปฏิบัติงานของหน่วยงานอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้อง หรือที่ผู้บังคับบัญชามอบหมาย
