โจ 1. Significant Products:
The Inorganic Chemistry 1 Group (IC 1) focuses on determination of heavy metals following standard test methods including British European Standard (BS EN), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Thai Industrial Standards (TIS) with key products as shown in Fig. 1 to 4.
๐ข 2. Responsibilities of Group:
- Developing effective testing methods with both quantitative and qualitative capabilities to establish reference values for inorganic reference materials (RM), to ensure measurement accuracy and support domestic usage needs with an internationally recognized quality system.
- Testing of trace elements in various products including metal products, consumer products, and food contact materials to ensure quality control and safety compliance with international regulations.
- Establishing and maintaining a quality laboratory system following relevant standards.
- Coordinating collaboration with government and private sector organizations both domestically and internationally in the field of analytical testing and establishing reference values for RM.
- Supporting the development of chemical measurement standards and quality assurance of testing results to confirm confidence in the products.
- Providing technical consultation and guidance in analytical methods and establishing reference values for RM.
๐ฏ 3. Scope of Research Field:
- Development laboratories and testing for heavy metals detection in new products with the goal of accreditation in ISO/IEC 17025.
- Researching in the field of quality control (QC) sample preparation and developing reference material (RM).
