Fig 2. Assembled Meniscus Leveling System
The fully assembled automatic meniscus leveling device was developed in this research, which aims to create both an instrument and software for automatic meniscus (Meniscus) adjustment. The system consists of a control unit and performance testing. The control unit includes electrical components for pipette movement, a motorized suction–dispensing system, a digital microscope camera, and the DSS Pipette Calibration program, which controls all operations in real time.
Test results show that the system can measure volume accurately, reduce human error, and enable operators to correctly adjust the meniscus level without prolonged eye strain.
